There are many extra curricular activities for students at all levels.  These include band, chorus, athletics, clubs, drama, yearbook, school newspaper and after school enrichment.

The District is committed to providing programs for all our students in the belief that all students can learn.

Extracurricular and athletic programs play an important role in our students’ total educational experience.  Many kinds of extracurricular activities occur at all levels and schools.

Whether participating or observing, students are provided with another opportunity to learn sportsmanship, teamwork and peer/school support.

The Community

The Town of Eatonville is located in the shadow of Mt. Rainier, within 40 minutes driving time from Tacoma and within an hour’s driving time from Seattle and Olympia.  Its population is approaching 2,300.

Recreational activities abound in the Eatonville-Mt. Rainier area.  In a short drive one can participate in many seasonal activities, such as skiing, hiking, camping, hunting, boating, fishing and mountain climbing.  Northwest Trek Animal Park, Pioneer Farm Museum and the University of Washington Experimental Forest are additional areas of interest nearby.

The climate is mild during the winter and enjoyably warm in the summer.  At an elevation of about 700 feet, the town is situated low enough to have about the same amount of snow each year as neighboring Tacoma or Seattle.
